Our approach to pre-construction service emphasizes the involvement and knowledge of the project support personnel to maximize the overall efficiency of the project. We take an active role in pre-construction activities since they are a vital function of getting maximum value from your project investment. We will implement the following steps to enhance design and construction:

Conceptual Budget
Working from preliminary documents, an initial budget is established utilizing an extensive data bank of historical costs provided from Dynalectric’s project background and local supplier pricing. After completion, this estimate is then continually refined and expanded in detail as the design process proceeds.
Design Sequencing
Working with all participants, we identify critical construction schedule items affecting the electrical installation. Once these items are identified, we work with others to establish a sequence of design activities to ensure that the construction schedule can proceed without design delays.
Value Engineering:
Through the input of on-site and off-site personnel, we work to identify design alternatives, which may favorably impact cost and schedule. We anticipate that our project manager, general superintendent and estimator will be involved in value engineering.
Schedule Development:
In cooperation with the project participants, we work with others to develop a critical path schedule that meets the scheduling needs of a project.
Purchase of Materials:
We purchase electrical equipment or materials and assures the timely delivery. This affords a project the full advantages of purchasing at the very best available pricing with the ability of having the material or equipment on-site whenever necessary.
Project Coordination Meetings:
We attend regularly scheduled meetings during the pre-construction phase, in order to ensure coordination of activities.
Pre-Construction Activities:
We have a dedicated team with in-house CAD system capabilities. Field installation drawings are developed and coordinated with other trades showing actual dimensioned conduit routes and equipment locations. These CAD drawings increase field productivity, which in turn improves the overall project schedule. The CAD installation drawings then become the as-built drawings at the end of the project.
Design-Build/Design-Assist:
